Adult Studies

We offer a number of adult studies throughout the year. Some are drop-in studies that you can attend whenever you like. Others are short term (4-8 weeks) groups or long term (30-40 week) groups. Topics include Bible study, spiritual exploration, and building community.

NEW: Living the Questions - This group is an open-minded alternative to studies that attempt to give participants all the answers and instead strives to create an environment where participants can interact with one another in exploring what's next for Christianity. Led by Pastor Alecia, the group will meet Sundays from 6-8 PM for 7 weeks, starting on August 8, at the church. Cost is $10.

Bible study - A drop-in class for anyone interested in Bible study. This summer we are in the book of Revelation. Led by Paul McRoberts, class meets at 9:45 AM Sundays in the pastor's office.

Women's Wednesday Nights - Based on the book, I Thought It Was Just Me But It Wasn't, this small group centers on the debilitating emotion of shame. The group will discuss this book, one chapter at a time. Led by Pastor Alecia Williams, class will meet the first and third Wednesdays from 6:30 - 8:00 pm at the church.

Understanding the Bible: A Beginner's Guide to Unlocking the Mysteries - If reading Scripture leaves you scratching your head, join this evening class to gain a better understanding of the Word. If you are new to the faith or new to reading the Bible, this class is a foundation. Led by Janet Rudolph, class will meet Thursday nights at 7:15 pm in Rooms 5 and 6 at the church.
