Sunday School
Sunday School starts at 8:45 and is over at 9:40. Preschool through 6th grade Sunday School for the 2010-2011 year starts September 12th and goes through May 22nd. Children will register at the table in the Narthex every morning before heading off to their classes.
We ask that parents fill out a registration form for each child who is coming to Sunday School, so that we will have information to help keep your child safe and happy.
The four classes offered this year are:
Pre-kindergarten is taught by Mandy Moellering and Carrie McKnight. At the beginning of the hour pre-K children will go to Room 7 where they will remain until the end of Sunday School.
Kindergarten/first grade is taught by Lisa Potter and Teresa Ellickson. Kindergarten and first grade children will go to Rooms 5/6 for opening at the beginning of the hour. After opening they will move to Room 8 for their class.
Second, third, and fourth grade is taught by Laura Bibby and Gina Lewis. Children in grades 2, 3 and 4 will go to the music room at the beginning of the hour. After music they will move to Room 5/6.
Fifth and sixth grade is taught by Dani Gryp. Children in grades 5 and 6 will go to the music room at the beginning of the hour. After music they will move to the Library.
As part of our program we focus on a service projects each month to help our children learn to help others. Children are encouraged to bring offerings for the project of the month.
**NEW** We are now offering a one-room Sunday School program during the 11:15 service, taught by Cassie Hershberger and Ali Brand.
